Responsibilities Job Overview: Despatch Clerk is responsible for ensuring that trucks are loaded, sealed and that the drivers sign for the stock loaded. The Despatch Clerk also ensures that all documentation is completed accurately. Assign and track work crews and drivers. Ensure the shipping documents are completed and signed for. Plan and update the load/delivery plan of trucks. Ensure trucks are loaded timeously on a daily basis. Ensure that drivers sign all the relevant delivery related documents. Ensure on time despatch of the delivery trucks. Communicate with the route planners of any changes on the load plan. Update the loading and despatch daily report. Communicate and update the customers of any possible delays with the deliveries. Qualifications Matric. NQF level 5 Certificate in supply chain and/or General office administration would be advantageous. 3-5 years’ experience in an Administration role or similar, within the food industry would be preferred. “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
