DESTRUCTION COORDINATOR

PAY: $26.00/Hr -paid biweekly
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Some Overtime and Weekends required)
LOCATION: 690 NE 14TH DES MOINES IA
This role is responsible for enabling an efficient day-to-day Shred Plant operation by supporting the Plant Management team. Plan, organize and in all phases of the production process to assure the facility operates in a highly efficient manner. Strong leadership to assure that the plant equipment is maintained in a proactive manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operate, maintain, and diagnose issues with plant equipment
2. Operate small heavy equipment such as skid steers
3. Operate Iron Mountain motor vehicles
4. Overseeing and scheduling the day to day activities of the plant and plant maintenance
5. Frequent communication with our Management team regarding status and quality of service
6. Ensure adherence to all security and operational procedures
7. Other transportation/plant activities as required by the needs of the company and the customer base
8. Must be able to diagnose and maintain plant equipment
9. At least 5 years of mechanical experience preferred- including diagnosing issues, fixing, and adhering to maintenance schedules
10. Lift at least 70 lbs
11. Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
12. Push, Pull bins from 25-350 lbs., with an average weight of 170 lbs
13. Be able to pass a pre-employment background check
14. Demonstrate safe and efficient operating and mechanical skills
15. Valid class 5 driver's license with AB and with clean driving record
