What does a Security Guard for The RCMP do?Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
Point of contact with authorities and emergency services
Monitor detainees
Complete administrative functions Conduct preventive surveillance rounds Qualifications to become a Security Guard for the RCMP detachment Available to work flexible hours (days, evenings, nights, weekdays, weekends) Policing or corrections background or 3+ years as a high-profile security officer First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke) Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years. Have a clear criminal background Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status Be eligible to work in Canada Bilingual is an asset (as needed per location)SSATL
