**Summary** Chenega Naswik International (CNI) is looking for an experienced **Detention Services Subject Matter Experts** to provide oversight at a facility in Central Falls, RI. **Responsibilities** What You'll Get To Do: + Identify and address issues affecting detention/incarceration performance. + Document site activities and report performance requirements congruent to checklist standards and ratings. + Maintain activity logs to track and review completion and results of internal and external audits. + May participate in meetings with assigned government representatives to provide updates on facility’s quality of work and responsiveness. + Observe the facility’s security practices and movement operations to ensure there is appropriate security in place. + Monitor facility for corrective action compliance and contract performance. + Maintain quality control plan documents. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** You'll Bring These Qualifications: + Minimum of twenty (20) or more years’ experience carrying out higher-level professional and/or administrative work involved in programs, projects, and operations. + Demonstrated experience in detention/incarceration issues. + At least ten (10) years of experience in detention/correctional settings with the ability to identify and address issues affecting detention performance. This could include, but is not limited to, federal, state, and local department of corrections/detention personnel, county and city jail staff, and correctional professionals from the private sector. + At least five (5) years of experience in the evaluation of use of force incidents in detention/correctional settings and providing expert feedback or testimony in support of after-action activities. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Skilled in written and verbal communications. + Ability to manage customer expectations. + Ability to understand complex material and present it in an understandable manner. + Knowledge of computers, computer systems, and Microsoft office software.
