You probably already knew that Rabobank is a financial service provider for more than 8.5 million customers in 40 countries. Did you also know that we work together to make the world a better place? We do this in 101 ways. An example from the Area Accounts:
In 2021, we set up a great collaboration with the Jarige Job Foundation. In the Netherlands, every year there are children who cannot celebrate their birthdays because there is no money for them at home. The Jarige Job Foundation helps these children by giving them a birthday box. When selling a Rabo Youth Account, parents can choose not to receive a welcome gift themselves, but to donate it to the foundation or a financial donation from Rabobank. Every year, almost 6000 gifts and €80,000 are donated to the Jarige Job Foundation through this process!
In Area Accounts we develop Rabobank's payment propositions. This means that through your efforts, all customers and bank employees can conclude, manage and terminate payment products. Our products form the basis for the customer's day-to-day banking.
And that's quite a challenge! Our department is responsible for renewing and managing all the sales applications you need for day-to-day banking. The strong pressure on innovation driven by various business cases - new architecture, new products, innovative channels, changes in laws and regulations, costs and efficiency and changing consumer behaviour - ensures that you are continuously challenged to get the best out of yourself.

As Java developer in Area Accounts you are responsible for shaping, developing and running high quality software applications. You act in the front line of refining epics and stories and guide them through the whole software delivery lifecycle, from design to deployment, and from testing to monitoring. Next to that, you dare to challenge the status quo and to speak up during team sessions. At Area Accounts we have 8 DevOps Teams. You will be become one of the team members of No Limits. This is a great team that is focusing on the Sales Business Products such as Zakelijke rekening, G-Account, FX-account and more.

4+ years of experience in developing complex software solutions in a cloud environment
Affinity with Domain Driven Design, and interest/will to understand the domain
In-depth Java expertise
Experience in coaching and mentoring other developers
Experience in Agile and scrum
