Summary\r

This Data Engineering GCP BI Developer position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehouse solutions. You will work within a dynamic and experienced team, utilizing the most advanced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies. This role requires in-depth expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and other GCP services, as well as strong experience in Python development and CI/CD methodologies.

Key Responsibilities\rDesign and develop robust and scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer.Implement complex data integration solutions, utilizing ETL/ELT techniques optimized for performance and scalability.Optimize SQL queries for BigQuery to ensure maximum performance and low latency.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for data access.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, using Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools (Git, etc.).Collaborate closely with development and data analysis teams to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.Write clear and concise technical documentation for data pipelines and APIs.Participate in the design and implementation of monitoring and alerting solutions for data pipelines.Ensure code quality by following best development practices and performing unit and integration testing.Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to more junior team members.Critical Qualifications\rEngineering degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineering developer, with significant experience on GCP.Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer.Mastery of SQL and at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably Python.Hands-on experience with Git version control tools.Experience with CI/CD development methodologies.Deep understanding of data architecture concepts, data modeling, and relational and non-relational databases.Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Relevant GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
