Developer, Software Data Integration Specialist – Mexico

EVO Payments in Mexico collaborates with Citibanamex and Banco Sabadell to provide merchant acquiring services for their customers. 

About the role:

As a Technical Developer you will drive key projects and turn user needs into successful development and production developments. You will analyze requirements, propose solutions, conduct engineering analyses, manage development activities, and transition systems to full operation. Your technical, business, and people skills are key to keeping these technical projects up and running in a dynamic work environment.

Be a part of a team where you will:

Works throughout the software development life cycle and performs in a utility capacity to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures.  

Analyzes existing applications or formulate logic for new applications, procedures, flowcharting, coding and debugging programs.  

Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code.  

Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.  

Creates appropriate deliverables and develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in a flexible development environment

About you: 

Bachelor´s degree in Systems, Electronic Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience using SQL programming language proficiency with the ability to write queries and optimize SQL code.  (IBM Netezza desirable but not mandatory)

Desirable experience in Python programming language.

Knowledge in DB developments.

Banking background desirable.

Knowledge in the acquiring market desirable, software development and new technologies.

Demonstrated success developing systems that meet the business needs

Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter attitude with initiative.
