As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services. The main office for DBHDD is located in downtown Atlanta. Job Description Job Title: Developer Pay Grade: O Job Summary: Seeking a developer responsible for the design, build and maintenance of Crystal Reports, Widgets, Power Apps and .NET applications/services. Primary responsibilities will be to design, develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, Crystal Reports and .NET applications. Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards: • Function as the IT subject matter expert for the assigned applicant areas • Provide an IT development support role for assigned tasks • Provide IT user support for assigned application areas • Analyze and assist in the development of application specifications • Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks • Write and debug programs or program modules • Design, maintain and code programs using DBHDD standard programming languages • Codes, compiles, debugs, documents, and implements computer programs to meet specific business needs and requirements • Analyzes customers’ information needs, business problems and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards: • Strong understanding/abilities within sql writing queries and stored procedures • Knowledge of .NET web framework • Proficient in [C#.NET], with a good knowledge of their ecosystems • Power Apps knowledge would be helpful • Crystal reports knowledge preferable • Ability to research, analyze information and draw logical inferences • Ability to understand requirements for functional system changes • Ability to exercise analytical judgment, following linear thought processes • Ability to evaluate systems and understand the underlying business objectives and requirements • Knowledge of operational procedures • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools [DevOps] Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science or management information systems AND Six years of related experience.
