The ideal candidate for this position will be located near our office in Des Moines, Iowa.

JOB SUMMARY: The Developer will lead the development of a new client facing website, complete with GIS integration, analytics, and third-party APIs.

Work with team members to design and implement new features

Provide end user support and documentation

Collaborate with the team to develop a product roadmap for future updates releases

Integrate 3rd party tools such as GIS frameworks

Create tables, stored procedures, and service APIs

Meet with clients and attend conferences as needed

Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s and Eocene Environmental Group’s culture of safety and employee ownership

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

AAS in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent relevant experience

Experience with JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, C#, and Web API

Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases

ESRI or other GIS platform experience is highly desired

Knowledge of common application and web design patterns

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a user base with varying degrees of technological skills

Work effectively collaboratively and individually

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change with short notice

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Computer Science, Software Development
