Role: Application Support Primary Skill Java, SQL, Linux Job Description Service Operations Coverage Provide, but not limited to, English and Tagalog (Filipino) speaking support personnel. Receive problems from any TI operations or TI subcontractor manufacturing floors that can be supported out of any of the languages outlined above. Supports planned/unplanned service or application maintenance activities which do not require a SW or system change. It includes such as, but not limited to, application verification and validation after the maintenance activity, configuration change, password change which requires updating application/database configuration, regression testing, site setup. This type of activity normally follows a standard execution script. The monthly ticket volume baseline would be ranging from minimum of 400 and maximum of 1200. Customer base - users can be either from manufacturing area and/or office administration people. Has an option to operate in a remote work/office location or on-site (TI Baguio) With on-site presence/representative of management/supervisor and technical expert. Strong verbal and writing skills for English communicating with customer base, various IT support groups either at the sites, level 2 or level 3 groups. Monitoring Monitoring of Unix/Linux, Windows server and application monitoring via the alerts or application monitoring system. Document, resolve and report identified issues to specific TI application support teams and its stakeholders. Escalate issues as needed. Provide problem resolution based on trainings, manuals and preexisting documentations. Observe, analyze and report trends and recommendations that can be used to resolve issues proactively. Coverage Provide continuous support around the clock 24x7 including holidays, weekends and other non-traditional working days for Test Systems applications. The rest of applications are required to be supported on a regular Asia daytime work week schedule excluding holidays and weekends (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
