PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES for THE ROLE AND PRODUCT
As part of the Board Area Products Engineering the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) development team builds solutions that help our customers to streamline existing Regulation and Compliance processes, address regulatory requirements and reduce risk during their digital transformation. Build the total risk management system for a company.
We have development teams in Walldorf and Shanghai. Our team offers a dynamic, international environment with opportunities for continuous learning and career development. We lead the end-to-end innovation cycle of enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance solution development to deliver solution for all SAP worldwide customers on Risk Management, Internal Control Framework and Lifecycle, Enterprise Compliance, Policy Management etc. eGRC solution targets to help enterprise setup the intelligent Governance environment. As part of Finance, we support end users from CFO office and CEO office to optimize the business process, set up control, ensure compliance, and manage risk in an efficient and effective way. Our products are based on analytics and new technologies to help customers make optimal decisions by proactively balancing risks and opportunities. Our development is fully aligned with SaaS in SAP Business Platform. Design Thinking and User Experience are embedded into our design. We have close contact with word famous customers within our development, many of them are in Global 500.

ROLE
As a developer you will join a team working in the enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance area. Your responsibility will cover all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle at SAP, including the overall responsibility for your area through design, implementation, test, maintenance, and operation.
Depending on your level of experience you will contribute to efforts around the architecture design, technical implementation, security issues, agile development techniques and implement the predefined requirements of the new solution. You are the team player, and the contribution of the requirements refinements is also expected. With the collaboration with customers, end-users, and other development teams, these are the must to bring the solution forward.
You need to be comfortable to work in a (new) dynamic environment, guide with your expertise, establish standards in your team, share your knowledge, motivate other team members, build consensus, while being open to new ideas and approaches at the same time.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD) in information technology, computer or natural science, engineering, or equivalent subject.
Technical skills in Java, in-depth and hands on experience with common frameworks like Spring Boot / Hibernate, sound knowledge of Microservices, design patterns and architecture principles.
Experience in public cloud, like AWS, Azure, Google cloud… is a plus.
Experience in test-driven development, unit test, continuous integration & continuous delivery, knowledge in using GIT Hub. Experience in application development, committer/contributor model, and pair programming… is a plus.
Experience on agile development model, excellent comprehension, willingness, and ability to learn new subject matters quickly, intercultural co-operation and passion for innovation. Eager to understand business process background.
Experience with Audit, Risk, Compliance will be a plus, knowledge of quality processes and standards, network, internet technologies and distributed systems.
Good communication, presentation skills, fluent Chinese and English - verbal and written.
