Job Title: LIMS Associate Engineer/Developer
Location: PAN India

Qualifications: Any degree or PG (BSc, BPharmacy, BCA, MCA, MSc.)

Role Overview:
The LIMS Associate Engineer/Developer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to streamline laboratory workflows. The role requires hands-on experience in LIMS, laboratory practices, instrument interfaces, and technical configuration. You will be involved in database management, query writing, report generation, and troubleshooting to improve the functionality and performance of the LIMS system.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, configure, and support LIMS applications as part of ongoing laboratory workflows and processes. Collaborate with laboratory teams to ensure proper integration and interface of instruments with LIMS for calibration, maintenance, and data handling. Handle instrument interfaces and ensure proper calibration and maintenance procedures are followed. Develop and configure LIMS modules, including stock management, sample workflows, instrument modules, and report generation. Write and optimize SQL queries to manage laboratory data, perform data analysis, and support reporting functions. Assist in the testing of LIMS systems, including functionality testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Create and modify reports and forms in LIMS, ensuring they meet the lab's specifications and regulatory standards. Follow ITIL practices and support processes, ensuring effective change management, issue resolution, and system upgrades. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (such as GxP) and participate in validation processes as needed. Provide technical support and guidance to laboratory staff and assist in troubleshooting issues related to LIMS applications. Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, development processes, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing within the team. Be open to taking on challenges and assist in improving the overall performance of LIMS systems.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

LIMS knowledge: Hands-on experience with any Laboratory Information Management System. Laboratory practices: At least 1 year of experience in a QC laboratory setting, with a solid understanding of laboratory operations. Instrument handling: Experience in interfacing and calibrating laboratory instruments. Technical skills: Basic knowledge of LIMS technical configurations, database management, and query writing. Reporting & form designing: Experience with developing reports, designing forms, and configuring LIMS to meet lab requirements. ITIL & support processes: Knowledge of ITIL processes, including support, change management, and incident resolution. Testing & documentation: Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and creating detailed documentation for systems and processes. Database management: Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and handling databases. Adaptability: Ability to take on challenges, learn quickly, and contribute to system improvements.
