• Should be expert of anyone of these Postgres/Oracle/DB2 database system. • Create the objects in the database, such as triggers, indexes, etc. • Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance. • Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early. • Create regular backups and recovery plans as per best industry practices. • Should have knowledge of Backup, Performance Tuning, Data Modelling, Analytics • Knowledge of Disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore • Designing and implementing extraction, transformation, and loading data pipelines • Working closely with data analysts on the ETL process Responsibilities & Skills • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator. • Proficiency in MSSQL, CosmosDB, and PostgreSQL. • Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Monitor database performance and implement changes to optimize performance. • Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems. • Perform regular database backups and recovery operations. • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner. • Document database configurations, processes, and procedures • Knowledge of automation tools for database management and monitoring. • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for database automation tasks. • Experience in DevOps environments and integrating databases into CI/CD pipelines. • AWS Migration from one Region to Another Region • Experience with external tools for data migration.
