Role: ServiceNow Senior Developer (CMDB)

Overview: We are seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer with specialized expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery to support, maintain, and optimize our configuration management and asset discovery processes. This role involves developing and enhancing CMDB-related features, integrating ServiceNow with external systems, and providing cross-module support to ensure a cohesive and efficient platform.
Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development with specific expertise in CMDB, Discovery, and integrations. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ServiceNow Certified CMDB Developer. In-depth knowledge of CMDB architecture, Discovery configuration, and Service Mapping. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management Professional (ITSM Pro), Security Operations, Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Finance Services Operations (FSO). Knowledge of ITOM and other relevant ServiceNow modules. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and CMDB best practices. Understanding of network infrastructure, asset lifecycle management, and dependency mapping.Roles and Responsibilities:
CMDB Development: Lead the design, implementation, and customization of CMDB processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and alignment with IT and business needs. Discovery Management: Configure and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery module to enable accurate and automated asset identification and mapping. Integrations: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems for seamless data flow and synchronization within the CMDB and other modules. Cross-Module Support: Provide development and support across various ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM), ensuring platform efficiency and interoperability. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to CMDB and Discovery processes, driving continuous improvement and optimization. Technical Documentation & Standards: Maintain clear documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
