DevOps Engineer Position Summary the DevOps Engineer position will be responsible for all technical aspects of maintaining and supporting the infrastructure of the Client's Omnichannel platform on Amazon Connect. Primary responsibilities will include ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless deployment of innovative technologies and features. Responsibilities • Build, release, and configuration management of production systems. • Collaborate with software development teams to provide guidance and support in optimizing software build. • Help in monitoring system performance by creating s, dashboards and implementing optimizations to enhance the overall customer experience. • Manage and maintain the cloud-based infrastructure and resources required for the build system and other DevOps-related services. • Propose build and deployment mechanisms for cloud-based services and external developer-facing APIs. • Maintain documented standard processes for software build. • Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using the build system, automating the entire build, testing, and deployment process for applications. • Ensure the reliability and scalability of the CI/CD infrastructure to meet the demands of a fast-paced development environment. • Perform system upgrades, patches, and fixes as necessary to maintain optimal performance and security. • Accountable for proper backup and disaster recovery procedures. • Develop Proof of Concepts (POC), work with different teams to run various simulations in lower environments to validate the POC with little supervision and handholding. Technical Skills: Total years of experience: 4-7 years of experience working as Dev Ops engineer in AWS, Azure, or a Private Cloud setup. • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins. • Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for ensuring system performance and reliability. • Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), and related services. • Good understanding with any scripting language such as Bash, Shell, or Python. • Basic understanding of GIT, various GIT commands and how version control works.
