Key Responsibilities: • ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining solutions within the ServiceNow platform specifically tailored to meet the needs of Bain. • Design and architect ServiceNow solutions, including data models, workflows, forms, UI components, and integrations. • Develop custom applications, modules, scripts, business rules, client scripts, and other artifacts. • Implement automation solutions within ServiceNow to streamline various processes. • Develop integrations between ServiceNow instance and Bain’s existing instance. • ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, particularly focusing on CMDB, ATF, and ITSM. • CMDB & CSDM Implementation: Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). • ATF (Automated Test Framework): Implement and manage Automated Test Framework (ATF) to streamline testing and ensure platform reliability and quality. • ITSM Customization: Develop and enhance IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Fulfillment. • Discovery & Event Management: Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management to enhance visibility into the IT infrastructure and automate event-driven processes. • Knowledge Management: Develop and customize Knowledge Management workflows to facilitate efficient information sharing across the organization. • Security Modules: Implement and configure Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response modules to strengthen security operations and response mechanisms. • Scripting & Workflows: Create and maintain scripts, workflows, and custom integrations within the ServiceNow platform. • Data Management: Manage data imports, integrations, and transformation maps related to CMDB and other relevant modules. • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to ensure the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all customizations, configurations, and development activities. • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices, and continuously improve the platform’s functionality and performance. Key Requirements: • ServiceNow Development Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in developing and configuring ServiceNow modules, with a primary focus on CMDB, ATF, and ITSM. • CMDB Knowledge: Expertise in CMDB design, maintenance, and integration with ITSM and CSDM. • ATF Experience: Proven experience in implementing and managing Automated Test Framework (ATF) within ServiceNow. • ITSM Processes: In-depth understanding of ITSM processes and best practices, with experience in customizing modules such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management. • Scripting & Workflows: Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) and workflow automation. • Discovery & Event Management: Experience in configuring and optimizing ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management. • Security Modules: Experience in implementing and configuring Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response modules. • Integrations: Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges. • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow developer with expertise in CMDB, ATF, and ITSM. • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • Certified Implementation Specialist in any two modules of ServiceNow preferably CMDB, ITSM. • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred. • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. • Knowledge of ITIL practices and ITIL certification is preferred.
