Job Description

Join the growing exp.o Accounting team designing new applications to serve our internal customers. We are looking for strong candidates who want to help design and expand our library of automation tools and frameworks. You will be responsible for shaping the direction and quality of our unique business applications and the frameworks utilized to test them.  The Developer in Test designs, develops, and maintains complex automation and custom test frameworks. They participate in the design and development of systems with an eye for assuring quality and testability. They fully understand and support the role of the Quality Assurance Engineer by providing automation test strategies and tools for our technologies and systems.  They also perform quality assurance tasks such as test planning, test case generation and feature testing.

This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience with object oriented programming3+ years of experience in a technical quality assurance roleProficient at scripting in one or more languagesAn awareness of evolving technologies in use by the technology industry as a wholeProficient at working with databases, web application frameworks, and command line interfacesDemonstrated ability with Object-oriented design and coding skills (Java)Demonstrated ability to design and develop test automation frameworks from scratchCustomer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent job related experienceExperience with Kafka, SQL, Docker or similar containerization toolsProficient in driving technical and process improvementsWorking knowledge of Java application development and Windows/UNIX/Linux systemsWorking knowledge of common industry testing tools (Selenium/Webdriver, IntelliJ, Cucumber, Jmeter)

Additional Information

Expected base salary:  $100,000 to $140,000

May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position.
