Overview Overview The PPL Digital & Technology organization is seeking students to work full time (40 hours/week) during Summer 2025 to assist us in our digital transformation. The interns will be on a hybrid schedule reporting to Allentown, Pennsylvania OR Louisville, KY for at least two days per week. Beyond the scope of the actual tasks performed, the student becomes familiar with a corporate environment and gains practical skills and knowledge to supplement their classroom experience. Responsibilities Responsibilities Some typical job functions related to the team and this internship could include: Participation in daily SCRUM meetings. Assisting in user stories from design to testing Learn commonly used software applications Learn and implement microservices/APIs, SQL database programming, cybersecurity/privacy as part of creating and integrating multiple applications. Creating API functions, and services in C# Working with Oracle/SQL Server databases to write queries, stored procedures, triggers etc., and perform data analysis. Working with Git & Azure repositories for code hosting and versioning All other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study. Minimum GPA: 3.00
