The Development Landscape Management (DLM) department – as part of the S/4HANA Cloud ERP Unit, is accountable for the complete life cycle management (planning, production, and operations) of development landscapes for SAP products like SAP S/4HANA Public and Private cloud. DLM drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates all functions from development engagement to design, production, and service of those landscapes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SAP Basis Consultant to join our global team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, encompassing system setup, SAP system configurations, maintenance, and optimization. This role involves working closely with SAP S/4HANA product development teams to ensure seamless SAP system operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous system improvements.
As an SAP Basis Consultant in our team, you will play a crucial role in the seamless development and shipment of SAP S/4HANA Public and Private products. Here's a glimpse of your key responsibilities:
SAP System Administration:
Manage and maintain SAP landscapes for SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud development and tests. Perform system installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.Performance Optimization:
Monitor system performance and proactively address issues related to system health, memory utilization, and database performance. Execute system tuning and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.User & Security Management:
Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations within the SAP product development environment. Implement and adhere to security best practices.Collaboration & Documentation:
Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to support business requirements. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incidents.
WHAT YOU BRING
3-6 years of industry experience Strong knowledge of SAP system installation, upgrades, and migrations. Hands-on experience with databases such as HANA, or DB2. Familiarity with operating systems like Linux and Windows. Experience with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus. Fundamental understanding of cloud computing technology and services such as PaaS and IaaS complemented by a strong passion for cloud technologies. Robust analytical prowess, adept troubleshooting abilities, and effective problem-solving skills. The ability to easily assimilate new information and excel in a highly talented environment. Self-motivated and driven to independently research and resolve technical issues. Team player who enjoys collaboration within an international framework interfacing with multiple teams. Customer-centric approach with a proactive work ethic. Eagerness to thrive in rapidly evolving environments, dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and process enhancement. Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
