ServiceNow Developer

 

Purpose:

 

The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the delivery and support of ServiceNow applications in the GBS (Global Business Services) and Corporate Functions area, including administration, integrations, authorization configuration, unit testing, and development activities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Support the business requirements gathering from the end-users or other IT teams and propose optimal technical solutions to fulfill user's requests or fix problems in the assigned area Responsible for technical design, development, unit testing, and production deployment. Ensure that the solution is aligned with the ServiceNow best practices and JTI architecture standards throughout the whole delivery lifecycle  Ensure consistency and standardization of the ServiceNow applications in the assigned area  Ensure that required system documentation is completed and delivered before Go-Live Actively contribute to Knowledge Base creation Oversee a small team of external developers and maximize the team’s performance  Provide timely technical support for issue resolution for both project and maintenance modes, including data maintenance and user access administration, coordinate activities with IT and business teams involved Proactively analyze technology trends and JTI business demand to identify potential business opportunities and consult end-users on ServiceNow platform capabilities Continuously review performance, in accordance with JTI KPI’s and SLA’s, and take necessary actions to improve as needed

 

Requirements:

 

You have a University Degree, preferably in IT Fluent in English 3 years of experience as a member of ServiceNow implementations, including business requirements gathering, development, testing, and cutovers Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform, administration, Workspace configuration Knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD, SPM, and WSD modules is a very big plus Solid experience with ServiceNow integrations Good understanding of the key IT processes, knowledge of ITIL or similar framework, development experience in Agile projects 1+ year of Development Team Leader experience is a strong advantage. Good knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture will be a plus Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to deliver on time and follow-up promptly on any issues and/or risks identified
