Title: Development Assistant, Stewardship

Salary Range*: $50,000

Facing History and Ourselves is seeking a Development Assistant, Stewardship to join our global fundraising team. This position will be responsible for supporting members of the Senior Development team, with a key focus on helping to expand the organization’s stewardship and engagement of individual donors at Facing History. This position will also provide general administrative support and will hold responsibility for data entry in Salesforce.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Individual Donor Communication and Engagement
Coordinate management and upkeep of a fundraiser toolkit, including partnering with colleagues across the organization to draft and organize materials and ensuring they remain up to date
Operationalize additional stewardship projects, including project management and execution for donor communications and small events
Data Upkeep and Support
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual review processes for Salesforce data related to portfolio and communications assignment, including partnering with Data Team and Development staff around data review and entry
Support weekly data integrity work
Support ongoing data entry needs for the Development Ladder of Engagement, including ad hoc level assignment changes
Partner with the Data Team to determine list segmentation and coordinate regional list review for campaigns, donor lists, and the Annual Report.
Departmental Support
Manage upkeep of the Development Resources team intranet site
Partner with Specialist, Office of the Chief Operations Officer to ensure coverage and administrative support for all internal team activities
Note-taking/Zoom support for some internal team meetings
Support the Senior Director of Individual Giving in external portfolio work, preparing for and following up from donor interactions
Salesforce data support for Senior Development Team as needed
Other tasks as assigned

Work or internship experience in office setting strongly preferred
Ability to multitask and be flexible while showing attention to detail

CRM familiarity
Excellent computer skills, including experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite;
Experience with Zoom and Zoom Webinar preferred
