Are you excited by the prospect of applying your fundraising expertise to an organization tackling some of the nation’s most complex challenges? We are looking for a copywriter to join our innovative fundraising team.  As a copywriter on the Development team, you will be responsible for supporting a highly personalized experience for donor partners through tailored emails, stewardship reports, and proposals.  In this role, you’ll create new content and leverage existing communications to write compelling proposals, stewardship, and strategic communications that match the motivations of donor partners with Stand Together’s philanthropic strategies – inspiring them to go bigger and bolder through their leadership with Stand Together. To succeed in this role, you’ve mastered producing clear, concise and credible narratives for executive audiences. You have a unique ability to tell a story through written materials and you have the creative skills to think outside-the-box to inspire action. Your Responsibilities Include:Write copy for proposals, investment overviews, one-pagers, and stewardship content that articulate our mission and vision, elevating the Principles of Human Progress.  Create compelling copy for email products to our donor audience that cover Stand Together’s priority initiatives and investments. Work and collaborate with different business units to create accurate and timely communications products. Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the OrganizationYou have at least two years of professional writing experience, preferably supporting fundraising or business development efforts.Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex strategies into a concise and persuasive narrative.Ability to adapt voice and style for letters and emails from different signers. Strong attention to detail.Proven experience in proactively driving multiple concurrent projects to completion through continuous transformation and an entrepreneurial approach.High level of humility and integrity.Proficient with technology including MS Office suite of products, Adobe, Workfront, etc.
