The combination of these tools running on cloud infrastructure enables efficient delivery of features and products within tight timelines **Job Description** **Core Responsibilities:** Platform Development Engineer, you would: + Develop backend solutions using Python for data engineering and automation. + Develop and maintain frontend applications using frameworks like React or Angular for user-facing solutions. + Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation across MySQL and Document DB. + Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Athena, RedShift, EventBridge, Step Functions, and API Gateway to build cloud-based solutions. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions. + Support the integration of data processing tools and platforms, ensuring efficient data flow and management. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and visualizations using QuickSight, Grafana, or Kibana. + Collaborate with other engineers to ensure clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. + Participate in code reviews, adhering to best practices in software engineering. + Support the development and integration of data-driven solutions with existing systems. + Develop applications using Java for performance-critical tasks, ensuring scalable, robust, and secure solutions. **Requirements:** Key requirements and experience include: + A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development and data engineering. + Strong experience with Python for data engineering and automation. + Experience with Java for application development, focusing on high-performance solutions. + Experience with front-end development using React, Angular, or similar frameworks. + Solid SQL skills, with experience working with MySQL and Document DB. + Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including RedShift, Athena, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and API Gateway. + Familiarity with data visualization and monitoring tools like QuickSight, Grafana, and Kibana. + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Familiarity with agile development methodologies and best practices. + Experience in using version control systems like Git. + Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. + Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD tools.
