Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
•\tMakes samples for development studies, design verification, and regulatory submission studies. This includes running processes such as, but not limited to, barbing, ultrasonic welding, braiding, annealing, and scouring
•\tSample characterization including geometric measurements, visual inspection and mechanical property testing.
•\tConcept development that may include CAD/SolidWorks drawing and making prototypes - 3D modeling
•\tExecutes test plans and protocols for development studies
•\tFollows GDP requirements in documenting all experimental work.
•\tCompletes all ComplianceWire and Summit safety training as required.
•\tWill be working with a core group of 5-8 people in the barbing lab learning the ropes in the early going.
•\tThen working as one of the major contributors making recommendations on the direction they take their studies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Prefers BS in Mechanical Engineering or adjacent - needs heavy mechanical focus; concerned about Biomedical Engineering being too general.2-5 years is fine with regards to years of experienceExperience Level:
