The IOM markets drive Pizza Hut’s strategy, processes and measurements and operate the market directly, with our franchise partners. Job Purpose
The Head of Operations will be a key leader in the French market, reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with Pizza Hut Global’s Operations and Phygital (Physical + Digital) teams. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the business in establishing a roadmap for operational excellence, technology systems & adoption and utilization, across the French market, building a repeatable model to drive operational metrics (ie operations scorecard, guest satisfaction metrics, etc.) across estate.
The Head of Operations will be instrumental in driving franchise capability and profitability through improving customer retention and guest experience. The successful candidate will need to have a strong sense of accountability, urgency and ownership, maintaining a continuous growth mindset. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in French and English, with a proven track record in operations, building scalable success routines, and growing and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Lead, develop, and execute the overall operational strategy to ensure Pizza Hut's restaurants in France deliver operational excellence across all touchpoints. Establish success routines and processes that improve day-to-day restaurant operations, driving efficiency and consistency in service, product, and customer experience.Franchise Management & Support:
Lead a team of Franchise Business Coaches to guide, support, and influence franchisees in aligning with Pizza Hut’s operational and brand standards. Work closely with franchise partners and their management teams to ensure operational improvements are effectively implemented and sustained. Foster strong relationships with franchisees, acting as a trusted advisor on all matters of restaurant operations, performance, and compliance with brand standards.Operational Excellence & Standards:
Ensure high levels of product consistency and customer service across all locations by developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational benchmarks. Monitor key operational metrics (speed of service, order accuracy, cleanliness, etc.) to continually improve restaurant performance. Drive improvements in product execution to ensure consistently high-quality menu items that meet brand standards.Guest Experience Enhancement:
Lead initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction by developing best-in-class customer experience practices, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience in all restaurants. Analyze guest feedback, reviews, and service metrics to identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable strategies for franchisees to enhance the overall guest experience.Team Leadership & Development:
Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of Franchise Business Coaches and Restaurant Excellence Managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on operational improvement and guest satisfaction. Identify development opportunities for team members and franchise partners to enhance their operational knowledge and leadership skills.Operational Strategy & Innovation:
Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage insights to drive innovation in operational practices, tools, and technology that improve efficiency and customer experience. Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, HR) to align operational initiatives with broader business goals and promotional efforts.Compliance & Brand Protection:
Ensure strict adherence to all operational and brand standards, including food safety, health and safety regulations, and customer service protocols. Conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.Financial Accountability:
Support franchisees in maximizing profitability through efficient labor and inventory management, cost control strategies, and improved operational efficiency. Analyze restaurant financial performance and provide data-driven recommendations to franchisees to optimize revenue and reduce operational costs.Requirements
Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken) is essential. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to flex between communicating with restaurant team members, franchise partners and cross-functional/global stakeholders. Proven adaptability to a fast-moving environment and high sense of urgency and accountability, you will need to manage multiple complex data sets and reporting deadlines simultaneously. Proven analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, accuracy and an eye toward continuous process improvement.Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in operations, ideally within the QSR industry. Strong knowledge of business operations and unit economics. Franchise experience Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Working Relationships

This role is field-based, requiring 75% of time traveling to ensure operational standards are being executed across estate, meeting with franchisees to ensure buy-in and execution of brand standards. One day/month required onsite in Paris (La Defense) headquarters. Occasional travel to London (~1x quarter) may be required.
