Job Description:

Job Summary:

Seeking a hands-on technology leader to manage the full lifecycle of a new IT process automation platform. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a blend of technical expertise in automation, software engineering, cloud services, and CI/CD practices, along with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. They should be adept at process improvement and workflow optimization, ensuring security and compliance, and driving innovation in technology adoption. The candidate should also be experienced in managing large, complex enterprise environments and leading teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with legacy operations partners to capture, analyze, validate, and optimize process models.Design and develop a software product for automated request management and orchestrated process execution utilizing the Azure platform and Microsoft technologies to integrate with and manage traditional enterprise platforms and systemsImplementing and managing automation using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Automation, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.Enable orchestrated, automated task actions that encapsulate scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Shell, etc.Strong software engineering skills with Microsoft development products, including both low-code (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform) and high-code approaches.Proficiency in ASP.NET, React, Svelte, Blazor, and API management.Manage integration, queuing of requests, task execution, and ensure security of all aspects of solutions.Automate virtual machine provisioning and manage resource-management integrations.Build and lead the product team, manage changes and versioning, and implement CI/CD pipelines.Employ Agile methodology and identify opportunities for integrating next-generation technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceProven experience in a similar role with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong, demonstrable software architecture and engineering experience with Microsoft development products, and substantial experience with the Azure platformStrong, demonstrable expertise in common scripting languages, especially PowerShellAbility to build and own a productProven success building and leading a team
