We are hiring a Development Manager in Fayetteville, AR to work with our Northwest Arkansas (NWA) team. The position will lead fundraising responsibilities tied to corporate sponsorship and participant income for the annual Northwest Arkansas Impact Campaigns and Circle of Red fundraising campaigns. The position will also lead event logistics for all Northwest Arkansas campaigns. This position has a planned fundraising goal of $250k annually.
This person will also help steward and grow relationships to provide beneficial outcomes; recruiting, managing, and motivating volunteers; planning and executing logistics of auxiliary fundraising events; maintaining donor or sponsor databases; coordinating event administration, schedules, and meetings; controlling inventory of marketing, presentation, or fundraising materials; and preparing financial or operations reports.
We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

**Responsibilities**
Fundraising:
+ Generate revenue and manage volunteers for the NWA Impact Campaigns, NWA Circle of Red and event logistics for all campaigns Conduct sales calls to generate new business and manage existing corporate partners.
+ Develop relationships with volunteers, sponsors, and key corporate and community leaders.
+ Handle goal setting with corporate companies and individuals to raise funds and awareness.
+ Assist the Development Director in developing sponsorship proposals.
+ Network within the local area and recruit and retain our valued volunteers, including executive volunteer leaders.
+ Lead logistics for all campaigns to coordinate event efforts and meet company needs to deliver on promised activations.
Event Logistics:
+ Secure all required contracts, permits, licenses, Certificates of Insurance (COI) and submit for legal review.
+ Complete forms as needed for payment processing of vendor and sponsor payments/pledges.
+ Serve as point person/lead contact at events.
+ Facilitate the organizing and staging of all event materials.
+ Organize and coordinate all transportation and delivery to/from event including pick-up and delivery needs pre- and post-event.
+ Work with vendors on implementing details related to equipment needs (tables, tents, chairs, sound equipment, stage, food and beverages) within event timeline.
+ Secure kick-off, pre-event, and event activity locations according to timeline.
+ Serve as point of contact and resource for event participants.
+ Attend regular region logistics calls according to event timelines, and adhere to region best practices.
+ Oversee event registration, table assignments, and troubleshooting day-of/night-of events.
+ Assist others with non-assigned events as needed.
Contracts and Compliance:
+ Ensure compliance with Association policies and procedures including UBIT, alcohol, waivers, health screenings, auction item guidelines, branding guidelines, STEM guidelines, photo and video usage guidelines and required event signage, etc.
+ Obtain multiple (3) bids on venues/vendors to ensure the best pricing, risk terms and insurance levels are obtained to favor the Association.
+ Submit venue and vendor contracts according to event timelines.
+ Complete pre-event risk reduction forms and prepare maps of event sites/venues with required elements (i.e., location of AED’s) according to event timelines.
+ Ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner.
+ Make every effort to negotiate waivers of any credit card payment fees with vendors who assess them.
+ Create and run reports from internal databases and systems. Track and report on sponsorship income, pledged dollar amounts and event donation information for events.
+ Perform administrative duties as requested.
+ Daily travel required within the Northwest AR area.
+ Some travel to region or national meetings as requested.
+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Qualifications**
+ Up to 2 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or other related experience
+ University/College degree or equivalent experience
+ Ability to travel locally approximately 70%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times
+ Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving
+ Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office
