Development Manager **MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions** 1 Positions ID: 3104505 Posted On 03/07/2025 **Job Overview** **Position Overview** The Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development team in a player-coach role. They are responsible for designing, developing and managing MedOne custom software, along with mentoring and coaching the development team. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the business to work on complex analytics and technical reports. **Essential Job Functions** · Mentor direct reports on designing and implementing solutions, and best practices · Define and implement project plans for internal and external facing products · Assign and manage workload for direct reports · Perform code reviews, training sessions, and Agile planning sessions · Define and establish software architecture and product roadmap in conjunction with Application Architect · Work with internal and/or external users to interpret and participate in the defining and validating the detailed business requirements for the project · Work within all phases of an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) · Design and implement micro-service architecture based around CQRS, REST APIs, and event-driven systems · Design and implement client facing applications based on modern UX tools · Design and implement software solutions for internal and external projects using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and REST APIs · Design, optimize, and query databases built in SQL Server and Oracle · Identify and adopt enterprise data architecture patterns, concepts, approaches, and solutions in support of business needs · Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs and provide tailored solutions that meet business objectives · Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in software engineering to continuously enhance development capabilities **Work Hours** · Full-Time, Non-Exempt **Required Experience & Skills** · Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field, accredited bootcamp, or real-world development experience · Minimum 5 years of experience in the creation of software applications and processes · Minimum 5 years of leadership experience · Understanding of design patterns, microservices, and event buses · Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, application architectures and network architectures · 5+ years authoring code using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Microsoft SQL Server · 4+ years of experience with front-end tools such as Vue.js, ReactJS, AngularJS, Svelte, and Ionic. · 5+ years of experience working with SQL databases · Understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies · Excellent problem solving and analytical skills · Strong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and priorities · Strong data analysis and presentation skills · Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues with assistance and guidance · Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment · Understands how to tactfully communicate difficult/sensitive information · Ability to work with other team members in a team effort · Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines · A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with minimal supervision **Required Licenses or Certifications** · None **Continuing Education Requirements** · As needed for required certifications and licenses **Relevance for Compliance with ADA** · None at this time **NOTE:** This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
