About the Role
The Development Services Specialist role is an essential part of the Business Development team and is critical to supporting the growth of the brand. This role will manage the department’s projects, commitments, tracking & reporting, systems, communications and franchise administrative needs.
A Day in the Life
Oversees the necessary processes when new franchisees come into the system and continually manage the process between all departments. Supports the timely and efficient management of the advancement of candidates through the franchise and approval development process. Manages the development renewal process to create a cohesive, transparent environment where critical information is readily accessible within EWCs system of record. Works collaboratively with Development, Operations, Legal, Finance, Franchisees, etc. to ensure alignment and support, proactively engaging stakeholders with updates, challenges, and opportunities. Is responsible for providing accurate reporting for EWC’s Development team. The reports will be data driven with status and pipeline reporting to executive leadership. Leverages exceptional project management skills to track timelines and prioritize tasks to improve development efficiencies.Manage Franchisee Lifecyle
Support sales team as needed in the management of the sales module within FranConnect, qualifying franchisees, matching them to available development opportunities, and work with cross-functional partners to guide them through the sales process.Partner with legal to ensure document timelines are met/exceeded and accurate development data is tracked within the system for all EWC locations:Identify and propose development process improvements to increase workflow efficiency. Works with legal team during annual FDD cycle to redisclose franchise candidates in various stages of approval process.Manage the Franchise Opener and Info Manager modules within Fran Connect with focus on approved franchisees, working with cross-functional partners to guide them through the next steps.Responsible for scheduling and coordination of Discovery DaySchedules and coordinates all trade shows for department; signup, hotel booking, space negotiation, printing /shipping booth and collateral.Coordinates and process all vendor accounts.Work with internal marketing and external resources on collateral and seminar logo items.Other duties and/or special projects as assigned in the changing business conditions.Partner with legal to ensure document timelines are met/exceeded and accurate development data is tracked within the system for all EWC locations and participate on bi-weekly calls: Includes all license processing and tracking (new licenses, transfer licenses, remodels, renewals, closures/terminations)Prioritize and accommodate requests from EWC’s internal and network stakeholders.Build, edit, and distribute custom reports for leadership use including franchisee sizing report, multi-unit development progress, pipeline status, etc. Assist Sr. Director with leadership updates.Process, track, and report progress of all franchise transactions including sales, transfers, renewals, closures, relocations, ownership changes, remodels etc.Key account manager for transfers, closures and renewalsIdentify, propose and implement development process improvements to increase workflow efficiency.Location Administration within Profit Keeper – Maintenance of location data to ensure all active center data is accurate. Support VP Development and Market Planning with projects as needed.Manage the administration of EWC’s Franconnect system
Create and distribute new user login credentials as needed. Serve as main point of contact for user inquiries and support requests related to Franchise Development and Sales.Work with cross-functional partners to create and administer workflows and triggers for various EWC initiatives.Efficiently develop accurate files for import; incorporate key intake data within appropriate fields.Work directly with Franconnect help desk consultants to promptly troubleshoot system issues as identified; follow up on open tickets.Work collaboratively with the internal Franconnect system administrator to prioritize development system enhancements.

5+ years of experience in Development AdministrationExperience with a high-growth franchise business model.Extensive Knowledge of FranConnect is required.*This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship*
