Position: Developmental Therapist- Madison, IN

Location: 2420 Wilson Ave., Madison IN

Schedule: on an as needed basis; Monday-Friday no weekends

Compensation: starting at $45.00/hour

 

KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a Developmental Therapist to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team in Madison, IN! The Developmental Therapist is instrumental in the planning, evaluating, and implementation of developmental therapy treatment programs and activities for pediatric patients. 

 

Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education

 

Responsibilities Plans, conducts, and evaluates developmental therapy treatment/intervention programs and activities.Interprets physician referrals and determines appropriate treatment procedures.Makes recommendations concerning standardized treatments or intervention based on developmental indications.Completes patient treatments related to various physical skills and functional abilities.Interprets results and proposes a treatment/intervention plan in conjunction with other team members, including short and long range goals, frequency and duration.Provides treatment/intervention according to the prescribed plan, including task oriented activities, neuro-motor activities, and patient/family counseling and activities.Evaluates patient response to treatment/ intervention and makes recommendations on changes in treatment as required.Maintains records concerning treatment/intervention provided, including both subjective and objective data. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, in Early Childhood Education, special education, elementary education, developmental
psychology or related fields is required.Credentialed/licensed for Developmental Therapy in state
of IN
