The Device Repair Call Center Technician provides device repair support to all Batteries Plus Corporate and Franchise stores utilizing database systems, web research, and collaborative problem solving methods. The Device Repair Call Center Technician will work cross-functionally with Repair Technicians and Inventory Specialists to ensure timely completion of repair and for technical inquiries.\n

Responsibilities:\n
Customer Service\n\nManage vast amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
\nInterface with internal departments on problematic situations, day to day inquiries and
communication improvements
\nIdentify and troubleshoot device repairs concerns, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and\/or alternatives
\nMaintain call log, problem resolution of proficiency standards, and customer satisfaction levels
\nEscalate problem situations to Tier II Technicians when necessary\n\n
Repair Support\n\nUnderstand device repair terminology, job knowledge and product information
\nReview detailed notes, ask questions, identify services needed, and review store information to required repairs
\nFollow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)\n\n
Qualifications:\n\nHigh School education or equivalent with relevant experience\n6 months to 1 years of previous customer service experience\n\n
Preferred Qualifications:\n\nPrevious experience in electronic or device repair\nDemonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance\nDemonstrated problem solving skills. Duties require the ability of the use of judgment in minor decisions and use of some judgment as to the method of performance.\nExcellent organizational skills. Ability to work with relative independence on regular, routine duties, referring questionable situations to supervisor or others\nDemonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple
commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines\n\n
