Device Strategy and Portfolio Manager

Job Description The Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in managing, optimizing, and executing the company’s product and service portfolio strategy to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and market competitiveness. This role is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management, go-to-market (GTM) execution, monetization strategies, and performance optimization of products and services under their portfolio. The Portfolio Manager ensures that all offerings are commercially viable, customer-centric, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

- Champion a customer-centric approach

Portfolio Strategy and Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of products and services, from development to launch, enhancement, and eventual retirement.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Postpaid that aligns with overall business objectives, market trends, and customer needs, optimizing differentiation and positioning.
- Leads insight-generation through market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities, anticipate market shifts and mantain competitive advantage.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance against targets to ensure the effectiveness of the strategy.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio roadmap, ensuring structured planning and execution of enhancements, new launches, and feature retirements.
 

Monetization and Pricing Optimization
- Implement pricing strategies, bundles, and revenue models that maximize CLV and profitability.
- Collaborate with Finance and Analytics teams to analyze revenue impact, pricing elasticity, and cost structures - business casing
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize profitability and drive customer adoption; and lead the financial computations (e.g., business casing)
- Monitor and refine pricing structures based on competitive benchmarking, market demand, and customer feedback.
- Manage product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on strategic value and potential impact on revenue growth.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Positioning
- Develop a deep understanding of Postpaid customer needs, preferences, and behaviors
- Utilize data analytics and market research to gather customer insights and identify unmet needs.
- Translate customer insights into actionable product development initiatives and marketing strategies.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback to continuously improve On-top service offerings.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Optimization
- Develop and maintain real-time performance dashboards, tracking key metrics such as revenue contribution, customer adoption, and engagement.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations and testing to assess campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.
- Identify underperforming products/services, proposing data-driven action plans for improvement or retirement, and provide business recommendations.
- Work with AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling to forecast demand and enhance decision-making.
 

Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystem Expansion
- Identify, develop and manage strategic partners that complement portfolio offerings
- Support negotiations and execution of co-marketing, co-branding, and partnership integrations
- Ensure favorable terms and conditions with partners to maximize value and minimize costs..
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and service enhancements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to enhance service offerings and deliver a seamless customer experience.

GTM Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies for product launches, feature rollouts, and service expansions in coordination with Marketing, Sales, and Digital teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define target audiences, develop compelling messaging, and select appropriate marketing channels to reach potential customers, drive awareness and conversion.
-Collaborate with internal teams to define success metrics for each GTM initiative and track performance
- Monitor GTM performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize results.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across all relevant teams to support successful GTM execution.
- Manage and monitor the A&P spend

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Act as the central point of coordination between Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Experience teams. when it comes to product launches
- Ensure alignment between portfolio strategy and business execution, maintaining smooth operational workflows.
- Work closely with the other verticals to address service issues, pain points, and customer feedback.
- Drive process improvements, ensuring faster time-to-market and operational efficiency in execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the various cross-functional enabling teams
