What You’ll Contribute
We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with our AWS environment by writing new config rules, service catalog products, CloudFormation templates, or Ansible templates to support the systems architecture team in automating daily tasks from other teams or wrapping privileged tasks.
What You'll Do
Deploy and redeploy lambda and other systems architecture applications to remediate all security related vulnerabilitiesDevelop and implement automatic deployment via CI/CD pipelinesDevelop and implement AWS solutions based on systems architecture requirements.Ensure AWS config rule compliancy and handle exceptions, following up on issues and discrepancies.Work closely with the systems architecture team and other IT teams to ensure that AWS supports their processes.Develop and maintain documentation related to AWS, including architecture diagrams and process flows.Provide support to AWS users.Participate in the development and implementation of automation processes.The above information is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job; it is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees in this role.
What You Have
Minimum education, skills and experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.Experience with the AWS platform.At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps developer or a similar role in IT service management.Strong knowledge of native AWS development (lambda, API GW, S3, DynamoDB, Cognito, Route53, etc) and Python.Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps.Experience with Ansible, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower), and Linux shell is a plus.Familiarity with ITIL framework and basic IT service management principles.Programmatic REST API usage (Service Now, Ansible, security tools) is a plus.Proficiency in using AWS tools and software using APIs (boto3) and CLIFamiliarity with cloud computing, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and end-users.Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.The Americans with Disabilities Act
