OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The DevOps & Cloud Manager will lead a team of engineers and ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure. The DevOps & Cloud Manager will work closely with the software development, data, and QA teams to develop and maintain infrastructure code and pipelines.
Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Cloud & DevOps Operations department, aligning with the company's goals and objectivesHands-on implementation and management of continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and other relevant toolsHire, mentor, and build a high-performing team of cloud and DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure and application development processesEnsure the security, reliability, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure through regular monitoring, maintenance, and optimizationDesign and implement a zero-downtime deployment strategy, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance across all systemsStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing system performanceEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams, to ensure timely delivery of projects and effective issue resolutionLeverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Azure ARM templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and managementMonitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Cloud & DevOps Operations department, driving continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain documentation and training materials to support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and skill development within the teamParticipate in the IT On-Call rotation Travel as needed to support company requirementsFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team, promoting the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organizationALL DCI employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly. In addition to the cybersecurity requirements of all positions at DCI, the Devops team will support the secure design, development, security installation / configuration, and remediation of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, and cloud properties. Additionally, these positions will support the proper conduct of incidents, responses and investigations.Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent work experience 3+ years’ experience managing cloud based infrastructure4+ years’ experience utilizing at least one scripting language, preferably PowerShell, Python, or BashAt least 2 years of experience managing a leading Cloud Services environment, i.e., AWS, Azure, or GCPUnderstanding of Zero Downtime Deployment strategies, including Canary and Blue / Green DeploymentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsGood time-management skills
