DevOps Developer (CI/CD Builds)

Fortinet is looking for passionate and talented problem solvers to join our main DevOps team for managing the Fortinet Software Development Life Cycle Infrastructures and processes. This is a great opportunity for candidates that are interested in building large-scale services that support thousands of Fortinet developers globally, by utilizing open-source technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintaining and improving our DevOps CI pipelines on both Jenkins and GitLab CI. Maintaining and bug-fixing existing applications. Streamlining the workflow with automation (we use a lot of Ansible, Python and Shell). Working with JFrog for artifactory and package management. Providing support for various services and keeping them highly available

Job Skills Required:

5+ years of experience as a SRE/DevOps/Systems Administrator Deep understanding and hands on knowledge on containerization technologies (Docker, 
Kubernetes).  Strong scripting skills (Python and Bash) Strong experience with Gitlab CI and Jenkins Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Strong experience with administration on Linux/Unix and Windows Environments Experience with APIs and Web services, including REST Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding troubleshooting and debugging skills. Ability to multi-task and quickly react to system/service issues.

Nice to Haves:

Hands on experience with Ansible (and AWX) and JFrog. Networking skills – TCP/IP, proxies Knowledge of HA and load balancing CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator Experience with Observability tools, including Grafana, Prometheus and Loki

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $82,000 - $120,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
