We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and a strong background in Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD, Linux, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code. This role is critical in automating and streamlining our operations and processes, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

 

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Work across the range of services offered by Google Cloud Platform to ensure the requirements are met.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software delivery and infrastructure automation.

Linux:

Strong in Linux basics and commands to navigate efficiently through day-to-day tasks like writing scripts and troubleshooting issues across environments.Understanding of the CPU, Memory, Disk, and Network terminologies and metrics for effective system configuration and performance optimization initiatives.

Containerization and Orchestration:

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient resource utilization and system reliability.Understand and configure Kubernetes clusters in the cloud, service discovery, and load balancing.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using tools like Terraform/Terragrunt or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

Monitoring and Logging:

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Networking:

Good understanding of cloud networking resources like virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, firewalls, and VPNs.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and operations, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Good Scripting skills.An Interest in automating tasks that can be automated avoiding manual intervention to the systems.Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Certified) are a plus.
