Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python programming and expertise in cloud-based DevOps engineering. The ideal candidate will excel in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and reliable infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines, along with a strong understanding of DevOps best practices and security.

Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain Dockerized applications for scalable deployment. Configure, deploy, and manage Kubernetes pods and clusters. Set up and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application configuration. CI/CD and Automation: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and other IaC tools. Ensure seamless integration of feature branches and automate testing workflows. Cloud Operations: Leverage Microsoft Azure services for scalable and secure cloud solutions. Apply best practices in cloud security and DevOps security for a robust infrastructure. Collaboration and Agile Practices: Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to retrospectives, and maintaining scrum artifacts. Occasionally assist with Scrum Master duties, ensuring team success. Version Control and Code Management: Collaborate on a shared codebase using GitHub and manage source control effectively. Adhere to version control best practices to ensure code integrity and smooth deployments. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve scalability and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure and pipelines to minimize downtime. Qualifications and Skills: Required Skills: Programming: Proficiency in Python, particularly in DevOps-related applications. Cloud: Strong experience with Azure Cloud platforms and services. Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. CI/CD Tools: Expertise in tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. IaC Tools: Solid experience configuring infrastructure using Terraform. Helm: Knowledge and experience configuring and managing Helm charts. Linux: Solid skills in Linux system administration and scripting. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Snowflake is a strong advantage. Working knowledge of Agile practices and contributing to team success through collaboration. Strong understanding of cloud and DevOps security best practices. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role. Certifications in Azure or related technologies are a plus.
