Responsibilities

Our client is looking for multiple DevOps Engineers to join their team! As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer in our client's organization, you will play a key role in enhancing their system and software delivery by leveraging your experience with DevOps methodologies and tools. Your expertise will be critical in automating builds, tests, and deployments using advanced tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins. You will lead the automation of configuration and resource management with modern tooling like Saltstack and Ansible, and drive the adoption of IaC with tools such as Pulumi and CloudFormation.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated data queries, improving technical documentation, analyzing and optimizing system performance, and implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions using Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.

Automate software build, testing, and deployment with the use of tools such as Git, Gitlab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Cypress, etc.
Automate the configuration and management of resources using modern tooling such as Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
Automate the provisioning of infrastructure using Infrastructure As Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.
Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
Write or review software and system documentation, propose and implement recommendations for improving documentation
Analyze system performance standards, flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
Configure logging, system, and performance monitoring software with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, etc.

Requirements

5-10 years of experience with a Bachelors degree in a technical field of study is required. An additional 5+ years of equivalent practical experience may be substituted for a degreeExperience scripting in languages such as Python, bash, PowerShell, PERL, etc.Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Storage (NoSQL) such as Elasticsearch, Hbase, Cloudbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.Experience with container orchestration and automation such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc.

Education/Certification Requirements

A Bachelors degree in a technical field of study is required for this position. An additional 5+ years of equivalent practical experience may be substituted for a degree

Clearance Requirements

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI w/FS Poly clearance is required.
