As a DevOps Engineer supporting the development, QA, and production operational environments for our proprietary trading systems, you work closely with software development and operations teams to facilitate the testing of critical trading strategies and functionality.  You will manage tools deployed in Kubernetes clusters and improve the development, testing, and operational experience.  This is fast-paced, dynamic work that provides new technical challenges constantly and demands that you learn continuously.

Objectives of this Role

Develop tools to improve trading system process management, monitoring, configuration Deploy and maintain tools in Kubernetes environments Design, implement, and manage new CI/CD pipelines and processes Define and implement software packaging and distribution processes with established standards Work with trading system developers and QA engineers to ensure the development pipeline follows established processes Understand the needs of stakeholders, developers, QA, and operations Plan projects and contribute to project management decisions

Skills and Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role Experience with containerization and cloud deployment of software (Docker, k8s, AWS) Experience with automated test processes in a CI context (Github Actions preferred) Strong knowledge of Python or Go and Linux administration Proficient with git and complex git workflows Working knowledge of databases and SQL Self-motivating, curious, self-sufficient attitude Strong organizational skills, ability to effectively plan and prioritize  Collaborative team spirit

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with software engineering, customer experience and civil engineering Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines for a large corporation Experience packaging/deploying software in a k8s/cloud environment Experience supporting electronic trading systems preferred
