DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's Azure infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment, management, and monitoring of applications and services. You will work closely with developers, QA, and other collaborators to create and implement solutions to optimize the CI/CD pipeline, automate everyday operations, and streamline the development, testing, and deployment process. The ideal candidate possesses a solid technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to address infrastructure and delivery challenges.


In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
•    Maintain and optimize Azure infrastructure:
o    Manage cloud resources, services, and configurations.
o    Perform regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and availability.
o    Enhance security measures and maintain compliance with industry standard processes and regulations.
•    Design and build CI/CD pipelines:
o    Establish and maintain effective CI/CD pipeline processes.
o    Define and implement build, test, and deployment automation.
o    Collaborate with developers, QA, and other teams to streamline release cycles and minimize errors.
•    Design and implement source control:
o    Evaluate, configure, and handle source control systems (e.g., Git, Azure Repos).
o    Ensure reliable and secure access control and version management.
o    Implement branching strategies that promote efficient workflows and code quality.
•    Design and implement application infrastructure:
o    Architect and maintain applications' hosting environment.
o    Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient application deployment processes.
o    Implement monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure components.

For This Role, You Will Need:
•    Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, and related services.
•    Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
•    Proficiency in source control systems (e.g., Git, Azure Repos) and experience with branching strategies.
•    Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
•    Strong automation and scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
•    5+ years of proven experience in DevOps, systems administration, or similar role.
