You Are:

Devops Engineer

 

The Opportunity:

·       We are looking for a skilled engineer to design and build self-service tools that help software development teams push code to production, at speed.

·       You will develop CICD pipeline templates for data engineering, software engineering and data science to support seamless much desired vision of one click build and deployments across environments.

·       You will manage the setup, configuration, audit of all user accounts and security policies ensuring all compliance standards are met.

·       You will work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.

·       You will drive your own projects, from design through planning to execution. Also work with teams across Mobilisights on cross-team initiatives. Analyzing and improving availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security and performance of our services.

·       You will support troubleshooting and resolving problems with production systems as part of our on-call rotation.

 

What you need:

7+ years relevant work experience. Solid knowledge of distributed version control systems (DVCS) such as Gitlab, Github Experience in managing complex build systems within Continuous Integration setup using Gitlab or similar CICD tools. Solid hands-on experience on AWS compute services (EC2, EKS, Lambda), Networking (VPC, NAT, Transit GW, VPC peering, Route53) AWS storage services (S3, RDS, DocumentDB), IAM, API GW, EMR, Athena Data migration services, AWS Security (IAM,Control Tower; Rail Guard) AWS certified (Solution Architect as minimum) Solid experience in K8s clusters management and configuration Solid knowledge of IaC and Terraform Enterprise experience on big data streaming technologies like Kinesis, MSK, Kafka Experience in programming languages like Python, Shell scripting, NodeJS Knowledge of Jira/ Confluence administration and development

 

Bonus points if:

Excellent customer service, communication, documentation, work prioritization and analytical skills. Ability and willingness to go above and beyond one’s comfort zone when it comes to about other services to help integrate and improve them. Passion to invent and create new solutions, challenge the status quo and drive positive change.
