About the team

We are leading eCommerce payment processor solution for US & Canada. It accepts payments from major card brands (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover), ACH, mobile & digital wallets, gift cards, etc. It is US’s largest debit and credit card processor with average of 35 million mobile, online, and in-store payments per day. It also provides international merchants a “one stop shop” integration for global and US payment processing. Value added services provide merchants with the most advanced tools and data they need to increase and protect their revenue, reduces costs and grow with experts.You will get an opportunity to work on the Cloud native microservices for Cards Payment connector and Account updater services as part of Tech modernization project that uses cutting edge technology stack. You will get to be part of the group that takes pride in its engineering/people culture and uses market leading agile practices such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

What you will own:

Engineering of VMWare based solutions -- hands-on implementation and subject matter expertProvide SME escalation for complex support issuesEvaluate system performance and produce reports to recommend and implement platforms improvements as appropriateManagement and implementation of upgrades to servicesFault diagnosis and resolution of serviceCreating automated deployments and changes that can be handed over to the operations teamsInterface and maintain relations with other Worldpay IT, and engineering teams.Designing and owning virtualization solutionsWorking on AWS tasks/issues from cross functional team

Where you’ll own it

You’ll own it in our modern Bangalore/Pune hub. With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, things move fast in APAC. We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic collective, collaborating with different teams and offices across the globe.

What you bring:

4+ years' experience with VMWare technologies and be hands on with builds, configuration, and scripting automated deployments. This role is predominantly based around VMWare technologies with exposure and experience of Linux, in particular Red Hat, and Windows Server would be advantageous.Virtualization: VMWare technologies and be hands on with builds, configuration, and scripting automated deployments. The role requires strong virtualization engineering design and documentation experience and is also very hands-on.Networking – Able to troubleshoot connectivity issues and has a working knowledge of Firewalls, Proxies, VPN, CIDR notation, TLS and DNSLinux Experience:  Red Hat Administration skills for an environment consisting mostly of RHEL6/7 and CentOS with a few Ubuntu VMsCI / CD: Working knowledge of Github, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and IntelliJ IDE is beneficial.
