Your Impact 

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with a foundational understanding of software development to join our VEFT Execution team in Cluj-Napoca. If you're passionate about managing and optimizing DevOps processes while having a basic grasp of development concepts, this role is for you!

 

What the role offers

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and integration.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.Collaborate with developers to support application deployment and resolve issues.Write and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and configuration management.

What you need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.2+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.Experience with AWS cloud environments.1+ years of experience with container technologies, including EKS, Kubernetes and Helm, web servers, proxies, and load balancers.Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins)Basic knowledge of software development practices and programming languages.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaborativelySelf-motivated, good at working both independently and as part of a team

Advantage- knowledge/ experience with

Design, develop, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources on AWSExperience with CI/CD tools and practicesExperience writing Terraform modules (Usage of Terragrunt is an advantage)Experience creating dashboards in Grafana (working with Prometheus backend is preferred).
