DevOps EngineerWhat does a successful DevOps Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, including Azure, GCP, and AWS. You will utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to provision and maintain cloud resources in an automated and scalable manner. You will implement best practices for cloud resource utilization, cost optimization, and security across different cloud environments.
What you will do:
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash scripting and Python to streamline deployment processes and enable efficient infrastructure managementArchitect and implement microservice-based applications leveraging containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like KubernetesConfigure and manage network architectures, security groups, load balancers, and firewall rules in cloud environments to ensure secure and reliable application connectivityImplement and maintain cloud-native security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and vulnerability managementWork closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations, to implement DevOps practices and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementWhat you will need to have:
6+ years of experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, and containerization6+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation6+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experienceWhat would be great to have:
Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellFamiliarity with security practices in DevOpsCurrent Fiserv systems or application experience would be a strong advantageThis role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
