You will work with various projects and clients, working towards client specifications. You will have a real passion for the philosophy of DevOps which they’ll be able to use to their advantage and deliver value for our clients. We are currently seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with experience in both Azure and AWS, proficient in tools like Grafana and Jenkins. Your role will involve designing and deploying solutions to the cloud which will allow automatic provisioning and management of environments, the capability to continuously integrate and containerisation functionality and the automation of testing. **Required technical and professional expertise** Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins. * Configure and maintain monitoring and logging systems using Grafana. * Manage and optimize infrastructure on Azure and AWS. * Collaborate with development teams to optimize development processes and tooling. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in DevOps environments. * Ensure all DevOps practices comply with public sector regulations and standards. * Mentor team members on DevOps best practices. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus. * Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer. * Substantial experience in both Azure and AWS services. * Proficient in Jenkins for CI/CD. * Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization. * Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. * Knowledge of public sector regulations and standards relevant to software development and DevOps. Desirable Certifications: * AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional * Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert * Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) * Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
