R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.The work model for the role is: hybrid #LiThis role is contributing to the process automation energy division You will be mainly accountable for:•\t\tResponsible for overall Configuration Management activities for multiple projects .\tResponsible for defining, implementing, managing version control and processes.\tDesigning, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline in Dev, Test and Production environment. Responsible for defining and executing configuration management plan.\tResponsible for packaging applications using any of the installer and packaging applications.\tResponsible for maintaining existing software and test infrastructure\tIdentify and correcting any single points of failure and working with developers to identify and address the issues.\tDefining and configuring DevOps dashboards, for representing project progress.\tCollaborate well with R&D teams, to deliver the Product releases on time, with good quality .\tAlign with assigned targets (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables. \tDemonstrates sound understanding and usages of R&D processes and tools.

Qualifications for the role

\tBE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech, Computer Science/ Electrical or/Electronics and communication / Electronics and Instrumentation.\t8+ years experience in SW Configuration Management using Azure DevOps.\tExpertise in building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps. (using YAML), Deployment of the builds/packages in Cloud environment and integration of static code analysis, test frameworks as part of the pipeline.\tExperience in PowerShell Scripting and batch scripting.\tExperience is setting up CI/CD for Firmware development, which includes build generation and automated test cases integration to pipelines.\tMandatory – Experience in VMVare, Managing Azure DevOps extensions, setting up agent pools.\tCreation of build and version control and creation of packages for a release. Experience in defining and setting up branch/merge strategy as required by the project\tKnowledge on Terraform, Docker \tExperience with Windows Installing Tools like InstallShield/WiX for packaging\tShould have good analytical and problem solving skills.\tGood communication skill.
