About the role
Gartner is looking for a full-time DevOps Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration DevOps team. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in software development, systems administration, and automation. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support day to day integration operations and its automation. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end production releases including build and deployment of integrations, identify and resolve production issues. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Integration Consulting (ICON), Integration Center of Excellence (ICE), and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to oversee code deployments and manage CI/CD activities for Enterprise Integrations.
What you will do
Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate integration deployments and the release process, ensuring adherence to security best practices
Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline, enhance, and automate the software deployment process
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Write scripts and develop tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
Monitor infrastructure to identify and address performance bottlenecks and security issues, troubleshooting and resolving any problems that arise
Manage incidents and resolutions with a strong focus on root cause analysis
Work with a SCRUM team to maintain and enhance DevOps processes
Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools
Stay updated on the latest DevOps tools and technologies
What you will need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
4+ years of Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS focus
Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, Terraform, CloudFormation, CloudFront)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, AWS EKS) and orchestration
Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and practices
Proficiency with Git Bit bucket, code merging and conflict resolution
Familiarity with deployment methodologies (Blue-Green) and tools (Argo Rollout)
Working experience with Java and React JS
AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) (Nice to Have)
Experience with NoSql database (Nice to Have)
Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing (Nice to Have)
Understanding of network protocols and security (Nice to Have)

Possess strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration and documentation skills
Able to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment
