DevOps Engineer/Azure/Dev Heavy

Our client, in the Entertainment industry is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer who will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing their Azure DevOps environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and a passion for optimizing development and deployment processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and make a significant impact on the organization’s technology landscape.
This company is ideally looking for a DevOps with coding experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD). Collaborate with development teams to define and implement DevOps strategies, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated testing. Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources and services to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. Monitor and troubleshoot DevOps processes and environments, addressing issues promptly to minimize impact. Implement and enforce best practices for version control, configuration management, and deployment processes. Create and maintain documentation related to DevOps processes, pipelines, and infrastructure. Stay updated with Azure DevOps tools and technologies, incorporating new practices and features as applicable. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production incidents as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, release management, and environment configuration. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus. Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
