The TEIS team is comprised of multiple Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Digital, Infrastructure and Security, Application Services and our CIO Business Office. **Work Location** The location for this position isREMOTE (Street Address:REMOTE) **Job Overview** At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future.Your role as an Internin theGlobal TEISBusiness Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by: + _Manage the existing cloud data platform to make it more scalable, reliable and cost efficient._ + _Understand current DevOps processes and suggest improvements._ + _Understand current Data Integration and ETL tools and services used and work with Solution architects._ + _Monitor and Optimize Cloud-Native Services_ + _Work with Visualization team to develop dashboards_ + _Establish Cost Estimation Framework_ + _Understand and suggest ways to deploy cloud-based machine learning services_ + _Upskill in other areas of Data and Analytics as needed_ **Responsibilities** + **Understand and Implement CI/CD Pipelines** : Gain a comprehensive understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) methodologies, and tools such as Jenkins, Github, CloudFormation. + **Monitor and Optimize Cloud-Native Services:** Develop scripts with AWS Lambda and Python to monitor services like AWS EC2, Redshift, Athena, EMR, ensuring cost control and operational visibility. + **Migrate Data Using Databricks:** Work with data engineering team to implement data migration pipelines using Databricks, ensuring migration across environments. + **Work with Visualization and Automation:** Collaborate with visualization team to develop dashboards using tools like Tableau, automate processes using AWS Lambda + **Monitoring and understanding Cloud native services.** Learn how to develop scripts using AWS Lambda, Python to monitor and control cost for the cloud native services (e.g., compute instances (AWS EC2), database services [RedShift, Athena, Arura], Data processing engines [EMR, AWS DMS, HUDI] ) + **Exposure Data Integration Techniques:** Work with Data Engineers and Solution Architects to gain the knowledge about ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) and learn how to apply Devops for ETL pipeline. + **Exposure to ML Engineering and Advance Analytics Tools:** Gain exposure to advanced data analytics techniques and understand how to leverage cloud-based machine learning services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Lamda, AWS Glue) to deploy Data Science model. + **Establish Cost Estimation Frameworks:** Work with the team to develop tools and processes for accurate cost estimation of cloud services and service requests. **You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:** • Have Received a High School Diploma or GED • Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Information Technology (IT),Data AnalyticsorComputer Sciencefrom an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
