DevOps Hardware Engineer MRHWS

We are seeking a DevOps Hardware Engineer to join our Meeting Rooms service team within Allianz Group’s Infrastructure & Information Security (IF&S) department. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the quality and automation of our meeting room hardware services, ensuring seamless integration with video conferencing systems, displays, and audio equipment. You will develop IT quality frameworks, oversee the installation and maintenance of hardware, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal functionality. What will make you succeed in this position?

•    Higher education degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field. 
•    Minimum 2 years of proven experience in managing and supporting AV Technology, meeting room hardware or similar . 
•    Strong technical understanding of video conferencing systems, audio equipment, and networking. 
•    Relevant work experience in process management, IT consulting or customer-centric service optimization. 
•    Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting. 
•    Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations. 
•    Ability to communicate technical concepts / details to Non-Developers. 
•    Ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

 

Your mission in the role will be:

•    Seek opportunities to continuously improve the quality & automation level of Meeting Room Hardware services and delivery processes. 
•    Develop and define the (IT) quality framework, standards and measurement methods for the product. 
•    Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of meeting room hardware, including video conferencing systems, displays, and audio equipment. 
•    Provide technical support and troubleshooting for meeting room hardware issues to ensure minimal downtime. 
•    Coordinate with networking and software teams to integrate communication tools and ensure compatibility with hardware solutions. 
•    Collaborate with vendors to source and procure meeting room hardware, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and requirements. 
•    Conduct regular audits and preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is up-to- date and functioning efficiently. 
•    Document hardware configurations, setup procedures, and support processes. 
•    Train providers on effective problem resolution of meeting room technology and equipment.
